Hi Grumpy,
This happens because the program writes the absolute path (to the icon file)
in the Desktop.ini.
Example:
IconFile=G:\Documents and Settings\Ramesh\Desktop\Hotfix\Ikona1628047231.ico
This makes the folder icon to revert back, when renamed.
The following should be enough, as long as the .ico is within that folder
IconFile=Ikona1628047231.ico
You may write to the author of that particular program about this.

I use Rainbow Folders.exe to color folders on XP is there a better program,
as folders lose color if renamed, and have to be recolored.
