Follow the flow of the conversation. Your changing to top posting makes it
hard to follow your question and the responses- some people won't bother
trying and you lose help.

When I try to print from my pc (XP professional svc pck 2), I get an
error
message of "failed to print". I have looked at everything I can think
of
but
am having no luck. Any suggestions would help.
Does your printer driver support SP2? Does your printer maker have a
newer
driver for your unnamed printer?
Apart from that you haven't given any information to even guess at
possible
causes.
(Printers have manufacturer names, models, various connection types,
then
there are lasers, inkjets, impact, thermal ......... which really gives
too
broad an area to give much but general advice, people could give info
about-
for example- a network printer and completely waste their time if it is
not
a network printer. )

The problem does not appear to be in the setup process of printers, that
is
ok. It is after the printer is setup that the problem happens. When I
send
a document to any one of my printes (local or network) I get the error
message. That is why I suspect something in the user environment. Is
there
anywhere on the pc that would give more information about this type of
problem?

You *still* haven't given any information for people to be able to get an
idea of what may be the issue. As has already been said if you really want
help you'll have to let go of some of the things you are still keeping
secret. If you are unwilling to do this that is fine- it is your choice and
you can enjoy exploring the many help pages available on the web.
And changing the flow of the posts- changing to top posting after bottom
posts makes it hard to follow your question and the responses- some people
won't bother trying and you lose help.
