I have a service runin gon my XP machine that converts a file from one format to another. It takes a long time (4 hours!) and so I'd like to speed it up by giving the service a higher priority, or more resources (eg processor/memory).
How to I give a service higher priority and/or greater resources in XP?
Cheers

Open task manager, right click the process, set priority.
