XP SP2 - lanmanworkstation service takes ages to load

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

Hi all, I have 2 computers here (PC and laptop) both with Windows XP Sp2 and
both machines straight after the logon box, will take ages (2-3 minutes)
before the lanmanworkstation (workstation) service starts. During this
time, everything else works apart from anything to do with the network.

Has anyone else had similar problems?
