can't undock quick launch toolbar

Hi,

Lately I realized I can't undock any toolbar (i.e. Quick launch) from
the xp taskbar anymore. I can remove Quick launch from the taskbar but
I can't drag it on the desktop, on the side or on the top edge. I know
how to do it because on my other computer with Windows Media Center
2005 I don't have any problems. Any ideas?

I have Windows XP pro SP2.
