You will need to do the Repair Installation with the same version of
Windows that is installed on your computer. The XP CD you use can be a
slipstreamed one with SP2 on it. IOW, if you have a Dell XP Home
install, you can run a Repair Install with an OEM XPSP2 disk. The disk
must be an OEM one, though.
