I recently uninstalled Roxio Media Creator 7 but it didn't do a complete uninstall. I have tried to reinstall it so I can uninstall it again and maybe it will do a complete uninstallation this time. But, when I do, I get the following error: "Windows Installer: The Installation source for this product is not available . Verify that the source exists and that you can access it." I have run Registry cleaner, RoziZap, that Windows cleanup program-don't remember the name, Quickclean, Norton Cleansweep, System Mechanic, etc. but nothing works. Also, I have copied the cd to my hard drive in hopes that would help but it didn't. Does anyone know of a good program that will find orphan files from incomplete uninstallations? I ran McAfee's Quickclean but it told me there were no orphans but I know better than that. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know. Jones
Quite a few programs don't fully remove everything on uninstall. Sometimes you have to manually remove folders and registry entries. Go to RMC's web site for info on fully uninstalling their product.
