consider double checking your cleartype tuner settings; ghosting like this
can be caused by improper setting of RGB vs. BGR. 99% of lcd's are RGB,
but a few do require the BGR setting.

and of course, try it w/ cleartype turned off. not everyone agrees that
cleartype makes things better. for max crispness I like cleartype off,
tho I'll admit text is a bit thin/dim...

there are three cleartype tools that I know of...

1) interactive tool:
