Re: Reloaded xp onto F drive

Rock
Thanks.
The problem arose with my internet/e-mail connection which is prvided via a
broadband connection. My broadband provider ran various remote system checks
which indicated that the system outside of my machine ie router and line
connections were working ok.They then spend time advising of various system
checks that I could run to establish my network connections but with no
success.
As a last reort they suggested that I re-load the entire XP system having
first made back up copies of all my files and folders which thankfully I did.
I inserted the System Restore Floppy Disc provided by my computer provider
and followed the instruction from there on accepting the default prompts as
they appeared on screen.
The only peripherals I am running are a Lexmark printer/scanner/fax and the
connection to thr router which connects me to my email/internet provider.
How do I find out my system configuration ?
Hope this will help you to help me
Thanks
