*Demand*? You can demand all you want, but a vendor that doesn't provide one
(and there are many) isn't going to give you one.
The time to find out what your vendor provides is before you buy from them.
Unfortunately, many computer buyers aren't savvy enough to do this, and get
stuck with a preinstalled version and no CD.
