Norton AV / Limited Users

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

I have found that with a standalone workstation running on a limited user account, Norton AntiVirus will not install updated virus definitions. Unfortunately, granting rwx permissions on that particular Program Folder does not do the trick. Does anyone know of a registry hack that will work? Anyone have any luck at all with this issue? Thanks to all who take the time to respond.
