Sr.sy_ is one of the files needed to reinstall System Restore.
Make note of the location of this file and run the SR install again.
When asked for the location of the files, point it there.

These are compressed files, the same as you would find on the Windows
CD.
Most OEM systems do not ship with a CD anymore to save a buck. Instead,
they put the files on the hard drive in a recovery partition. I my
option, this is very wrong!
