Keyboard stroke resumes from hibernation

Hi
I have recently upgraded my desktop from a Dell Dimension running Win
XP Pro to a Fujitsu Siemens Scaleo running Win XP Home. On the old box
I used to more often than not hibernate rather than shutdown - purely
for speed purposes. I would choose start, turn off computer, hibernate.
Then to resume the machine required a press of the power button. It
worked a treat.
However my nex box will resume from hibernation by pressing a single
keystroke or moving the mouse. It is acting as if its in stand-by
rather than hibernation! This is a bit of a problem as i have two
youngs kids who are known two play on the keyboard when i am not
around.
I have tried powerfg.cpl but this does not state methods of bringing
the machine out of hibernation.
Any ideas?
