Google bought out Keyhole. What you see on Google is
what you'd see in the formerly-independent Keyhole. I
enjoy Google Earth. My 256 MB nVIDA 5500 graphics
card handles Google with ease.
Google Earth does a fine job with metropolitan US areas,
and other large foreign cities, but when it gets to third-world
countries, Google (and formerly Keyhole) leaves a lot to be
desired. If you're planning on staying in a remote part of
Cuba, all bets are off on it being well-mapped for civilian
use.
Curiosity: Are you an American citizen? If so, is the USA
allowing its citizens to visit Cuba these days? Don't suppose
the USA is too worried about people defecting to Cuba. I
thought we had a travel embargo against Cuba.
