How many PCs are on your network? What is the workgroup name? Are you on a
domain?
For Windows and Windows networking, the PC name, Workgroup name, user account
name and Domain name can/should not be the same.
Example 1:
User name: Joe can not be used for the Computer name: Joe.
This error means:
1) More than one PC is named the same.
2) One PC may have the same name as the Workgroup/Domain name.
3) User account may have the same name as other PC or as the Workgroup/Domain.
Check your network!
