THANK YOU!!
I certainly had the feeling it had something to do with the operating system
updates, partly because the problem came out of nowhere, but most of all
because the problems DISAPPEARED out of nowhere the last time I had them -
the only conceivable cause for that had to have been some kind of thing
coming from Microsoft itself. Now with you confirming that suspicion, I'm
"at peace," so to speak. I'll live with it as long as I can, until either I
decide to just re-install it all and avoid the updates, or until the next
update sets it right again. Crazy.
But once again, a big thanks to you.
