Re: Windows Explorer Start Navigation Sound

Select 'None' under Sounds scheme.

Thanks, but that's not my problem. I know how to assign sounds. Can I make other adjustments there?

My problem is that my computer makes the mouse click noise for no apparent reason -- when it is completely idle (i.e. no one is using it or running any applications, other than what runs in the background). It's as if someone has clicked through a Windows menu. It even happens when nothing is happening on the screen, and no one is sitting at the computer. Any guesses on what's causing it? Is there any way for me to trace the activity that causes it?

Thanks!

Adjust from there.

Hello.

While my computer sits idle, I periodically will hear the Windows Explorer Start Navigation Sound -- the one that sounds like I've clicked the mouse. It happens even though no one is even near the computer, and no programs are running.

What is happening? Do I have a security problem?

Thansks!
