Hi!
I have a surecom EP-9221-R usb bluetooth dongle and wanting to install to windows xp sp1 but it seems it cannot detect the usb bluetooth. I tried installing the dongle to a windows xp sp2 and it work fine without the manfacturer's driver. Is there any issue on bluetooth on windows xp sp1?

If the manufacturer has this device as compatible with Windows XP, there is no problem. In your case it sounds like it is not Bluetooth that is a problem, but lack of drivers. Check device manager with the device plugged in. If there is an unknown device that shows up, then that could be the device in question. Alternatively the device might show up with an error. Likely you will have to go to the oem website and download the driver. It is possible that SP2 has native support for this device, but a simple driver install would fix this for SP1.
