You can remove that unused icon through TweakUi.Down and install TweakUi.

or,
Start>Run>Regedit>ok
Navigate to
Hkey_Local_Machine\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Current ControlSet\Control Panel>Cpls
Look in the right pane for an entry and delete
it.
