Sorry, but that's the only way I know of to get the Welcome
Screen displayed.
Keep in mind that standby is a low power state, the computer
isn't off. All someone has to do is move the mouse or hit any
key on the keyboard and the PC comes back to life with the
Welcome Screen displayed.
