I am planning to recover encrypted data (EFS) under XP SP2 from a dead
stand-alone XP SP2 system. I want to be able to salvage those encrypted
data and move it to a new XP SP2 installation eventually in the case of a
disaster. What are the steps to follow in order to acheive this challenge ?
I can configured a DRA and save the .cer and .pkf files for the old system.
Will it be sufficient for the new system to recognize the encrypted data ?
Thanks in advance to shed some light on this procedure.
