Recently my wife's new computer and my son's year old
computer crashed to a blue text screen. I did not see this
or have a complete and accurate report of what the error
message said, but it was told to me that the message was
that some hardware had failed and had some new hardware or
peripheral been installed.
The specs on the computers...
son's Dell 2400 XP Home, SP2...Zone Alarm free, McAfee
A/V, all updates current, 2.4 GHz Celeron. Onboard graphics
and sound.
wife's Dell E510 XP MCE, SP2, ditto P4 3.0 GHz, 775 mount,
SATA drive. Onboard graphics [Intel 950] and Audigy sound
card with Firewire (nothing connected to Firewire port).
I'm running XP Pro, SP2 and same apps, no problems on this
machine, a home assembled Intel D845GBVL mobo and 1.7 GHz
Celeron.
Anybody have any info on this, is there a new bug?
