Use the CTRL-ALT=DELETE and select Task Manager, go to the Applications tab
and click "New Task..", enter "explorer'. If the your desktop appears than
perform a System Restore.
If you desktop does not appear then enter the following in the "New Task..."
button
%SystemRoot%\system32\restore\rstrui.exe
This should launch system restore.
