Hi guys, I am new to XP and computers in General and need a little advice........... I want to secure a file on my desktop with a password that ONLY controls access to THAT file. Can you guys help me as I have searched help and it is either not there, or I need to get new reading glasses.
Looking forward to your responses.

Like Win2K, WinXP's file security paradigm doesn't rely on, or allow, the cumbersome method of password protection for individual applications, files, or folders. Instead, it uses the superior method of explicitly assigning file/folder permissions to individual users and/or groups.
