For straightforward DVD copying get DVD Shrink.

For the odd one Shrink balks at use DVD Decrypter.
http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/dvd_rippers/dvd_decrypter.cfm
Both are free and much better than some of the commercial stuff.
