| I have a Sony Vaio laptop with Win NT Server installed on it. I would like to
| change this to XP home edition. My question is, if I simply buy and install
| XP, will the laptop utilites (e.g. battery/power management, etc) still be
| available or will these need to be re-installed/downloaded from somewhere?
Sony Vaio NB -- You have my sympathies !
Go to the Sony support wen site and download all pertinent WinXP software and drivers
associated with the model you have.
Wipe the NB and install WinXP HE and install SP2 ASAP.
