weird, this mornign it all worked. i acesses the 2000 HD using the same
name and password, and voila, the printer worked without having to
reinstall. oh well.

now if someone could just tell me how to set it up so that the XP
automatically logs on to the 2000 using the only user accoutn and password
that the XP is running with. why make me type it all over and over and
over...
