Services at boot: safe settings
Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry
Hi
With the Recovery Console, the command listsvc lists the services and when
Windows starts them.
First I would like to know what is the difference between "System" and
"Boot" settings. Both probably mean that the service is started at boot
time, but when exactly?
Then I would like to find a list of usual services and their "safe"
settings: what is worth trying to disable when you get a BSOD, and what
should be left in place.
Thanks.
