My learned friends,
I am having a problem with my PC. I do not know how this came about but when
I switch on my PC I am not taken to the windows user area options. Instead, I
am told on a blue screen that that the hard drive is corrupt and that a
physical dump of the memory is taking place and a count up begins, usually to
100. Then it will reboot and the same thing will happen again. If I try F8
and start in either safe mode or any of the other options like “last know
configuration that worked”, it seems to scan the hard drive partitions and
the same count up will begin.
What can I do to solve this problem…I am very concerned.
I was told by a friend that I should go into dos and back to the important
files on floppy or CD. If you agree with this please tell me how.
Thanking you in advance
Yours,
Joe
