Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Error

why am i getting this problem?

the error message says:

Runtime Error!

C:\WINDOWS\EXPLORER.exe

This Application requested to terminate

please contact a support team

everytime i click OK it closes out my EXPLORER and now the only thing i have
to do is restart my computer.

how do i fix this error?
