Thank you very much for the link. The error message I am getting when I plug
in my USB cable for my scanner is - - Windows could not load the installer
for Image. I have spent a lot of time with Epson. This is a brand new
scanner with the latest driver. They are telling me it is a Windows problem.
I believe this is the case since I had a previous Epson scanner which all of
a sudden stopped working, so I bought a new scanner thinking it was a problem
with the scanner, but it is not since I have having the same issue with the
new scanner. I did see some documentation about installation problems and
the setupapi.log, but I do not know how to fix it so I can get my scanner to
work.
