Re: Norton anti virus renewal

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

I agree with most all of the replies that Norton charges "Yearly". Now I
would like to ask Peter a simple question:
Based on your statement "Norton Products---They cause more problems than
they are worth". Would you please elaborate on what the "problems" are that
you are talking about.
Another thing I have noticed about this particular post is that everyone is
talking about ONLY an "anti-virus" program. How about all the other security
stuff that is NOT stopped by just anti-virus definitions ? I have one of my
computers running "AVG" and for an anti-virus program it is great, but it
surely doesn't take care of some of the othet crap that gets into your
computer like having personal firewall protection; Intrusion attacks from the
internet; Spam; pop-up blocking etc.

Just having Virus protection alone does not get it. By the way, I have been
using Symantec's Norton products for years and have had NO problems. That's
why I would like Peter to tell us more about the problems he has had. And I
don't work for Symantec. If I thought their product was N.G. and was having
constant problems with it, I wouldn't buy it either.

Redwagon...........
