I need to re-install my windows xp operating system and start from scratch. The problem is, I dont have the xp disc because it (windows xp) was already
pre-installed on the system when I purchased it. what can I do ?, my computer
manufacturer was no help, I could not get a hold of a real person to talk to.
please, help asap.

Re: Windows XP pro OEM ... I have just bought a new computer, with Windows XP Professional ... I sold it with the upgrade disc....drive crash can leave you with nothing), and would never choose to buy ... generic installation CD for that operating system.... (microsoft.public.windowsxp.newusers)

Does Windows XP hate Office 97? ... I have a Certified Data computer with the Windows 98 operating system.... Office 97 runs on this computer without any problems whatsoever.... When I put the disc in the drive the set up program goes through the ... (microsoft.public.office.setup)
