I can post you the event files but won't fit on the post (a few of the errors
I have mentioned in my intial question). Its happening with Word/Excel
applications mostly. But in general the whole pc runs slow, from boot up to
shut down. Dr Watson has an error logged for winword.exe.
Please send me your e-mail to send you the log files, need this to be sorted
for the client ASAP.
I have only worked with the computer for the last 2 weeks & ever since has
had a problem. Previously another technician has worked on this computer. What
is strange that they put in so little RAM for a Windows XP Pro system on a
network with Celeron CPU (small cpu since it works as a so called printer
server as well).
I have thus far changed & upgraded the RAM from 128mb to 256mb.
I have Microsoft Anti Spyware loaded. No threats detected.
I have Norton Anti Virus 2005 loaded as well, no threats detected.
The system is running a printer which is shared by the whole network, 4
clients & main Windows Server 2003 SBS.
I intend to run a system file checker to check the intergrity of Windows as
well in a few minutes
Thanks
