Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

When I ran a Macfee virus scan a message it found two potentially unwanted
files which were: ‘ newdotnet6_38.dll ‘ and ‘ nduninstall6_38.exe ‘
( PUP Name Ad-Aware – NDOTNET)
I quarantined these files but after a search in my HD I found that I still had
‘ nduninstall6_38.exe ‘ on my HD but not the ‘ newdotnet6_38.dll ‘
Now on startup I get an error box that says ‘ newdotnet6_38.dll ‘ cannot be
found.
Why does Windows XP tell me that ‘ newdotnet6_38.dll ‘ cannot be found.
when, I think, it is not connected with a program.
Should I run ‘ nduninstall6_38.exe ‘ to see if this will fix it.
On a dll website I visited I came across ‘ uninstall4_50.exe ‘ which, it
states, gets rid of all NEWNET names and applications.
If the error message is telling me I have ‘ newdotnet6_38.dll ‘ missing
wouldn’t running either of the two uninstall programs to get rid of them just
bring up an error message that I now have ‘ newdotnet6_38.dll and ‘
uninstall4_50.exe ‘ missing?.
Please forgive me if I don't respond to any replys received after Sunday AM
28/8/2005 as I have to go into hospital for a few days on Monday
