Partitioning FYI



You can not use the DOS version of PartitionMagic outside of Windows XP. XP uses a specialized "Disk Manager" to run the large drives. If you run the DOS tool, you will receive the "disk manager not operating " error box. You must use the windows version to adjust or create new partitions or logical drives.

Make sure your AntiVirus software is shut down and , alternately the connection to internet before proceeding. All tray applications must be shut down or inactive for PM to operate properly.
