There are many things that can cause the symptoms of bad ram. Bad ram is
one. Wrong or misconfigured ram is another. Bad motherboard, inadequate
power supply, etc. are possibilties. Download memtest86+ and let it run for
a few hours. If you get errors try testing again with only one stick
installed then again with the other stick.
