Re: UMAX ASTRA 610P SCANNER DRIVERS

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

What you, and everybody else, forget is that Microsoft doesn't do 3rd party
drivers. They are supplied ***TO*** Microsoft by the various hardware
manufacturers, for inclusion with the operating system. If the device
manufacturer does not supply them, there is no native support for the old
device in the new operating system.

If the device manufacturer does NOT want to update "their" device drivers to
make THEIR old device compatible with a new operating system - take it up
with the device manufacturer! They are the ones who are forcing you to buy
new equipment, not the operating system supplier.
