Start up very slow on XP PC - May be programs on startup

Hi,

I have a user who has a year old Toshiba laptop. It had XP Home and we
upgraded it to XP Pro. It was very slow at startup so I actually reloaded
the whole operating system again. First the XP Home and then the XP Pro. I
needed to reload the XP Home because it has Toshiba oriented things that are
not on the XP Pro upgrade CD. It is now even slower than before to boot up.
It is also very slow for any office program to come up. I am trying to
figure out why. I have done Norton scans and it came up clean. I looked
at the System Configuration Utility and here are the items in this list.

exSP_Px which is something in Windows/System 32
TFncKy the command says TFnCKy.exe
pinger this is in a Toshiba folder
ITouch This is for a cordless mouse and Keyboard
EM_EXEC This is a logitek folder for the cordless which is the brand of
cordless mouse and keyboard.

hpztsb04 this is in the Windows/system32 folder
ccApp this is in program files/ common files/symantec
VPTray This is in a symantec folder
ctfmon this is in a Windows/system 32
LogitechDesktop
RAMASST Windows/system32
00THotkey Windows/system32
