There are hundreds of sites that host these files, who's to say they are
updated. I use these tools everyday and update them when a newer version
comes out. It is what I do for a living. I don't recommend anything let
alone post it on my site if I have not tested it. I just changed those links
last month to point to my site because I know my version is up to date. I
see too many times peoples hjt logs with them using the wrong version or
people saying Spybot 1.3. If they get it from me then I know they have the
current version. Why would I give them outdated software if I am trying to
help them fix their system. The only reason MSAS points to MS is because
that is still beta and constantly changing. As far as them knowing I have it
on my site yes they do, check it out if you doubt me, and I will soon be an
official mirror for Ad-Aware.
