Loading..Desktop Problem..No StartMenu!!

When I start my computer....it loads..to the desktop...right?.....
and it also will show your startmenu where you can go to your
Programs..right?...
But for me...when I start.....I only see the backround...i dont see
anymore..except for my abstract backround....BTW..im using internet
thru...WINDOW TASK MANAGER...then NEW TASK..then..i search for IE..then
i can open up IE..but in my desktop there is NOTHING I MEAN NOTHING..I
dont see my Recycle Bin..or My Computer...EXCEPT FOR MY BACKROUND...
Well....earlier..my Anti virus was out to date(Norton)...and there lots
of pop ups..saying my anti virus is out to date...so i decided to
Dl...12M free anti virus(Ez trust Anti Virus)....when i download it...i
needed to uninstall my Norton so I can use Eztrust...so i did that..then
i installed Eztrust..then it says my computer has to be restarted to
this will take affect..so i did..then..when i restarted it.....The
problem started...!!!
I already did Safe Mode...!!
I dunno what..do now...anyone can help?
