Can't change Windows XP Home Default Font Size

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

My wife's computer had some problems and I had to copy the fonts folder from
my computer to hers. It is working but all of the fonts are large. I go to
Display Properties / General and the DPI setting is "Large size".

When I click on the drop down list no other options are available.

How can I get the "Normal size" option back?

Thanks

Richard
