Compressed Files in Zipped File - Unable to see

While using the send to compressed file feature within Windows XP Pro, the
zipped file shows a size of 1.5 meg, but the file doesn't show up in the
right pane when double left clicking the zipped folder, nor does it extract.

Any ideas, please advise.
