Re: Problem with Windows? or software?

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

The computer does not reboot; in fact, it just shuts down. The Blue Screen
that is supposed to occur that says: "your disk needs to be checked" does not
come up. Also, everytime i reboot my computer, the firewall turns itself
off. I realized this a few days ago when i received an error notice. Now i
keep checking it after i reboot and realize that it is turned off. by the
way, i really appreciate your help as i have registered to a number of forums
and none have given me much help. Before this problem occured, i think i
installed some external hardware like a CD- Burner and then took it out.
Other than that, i have no recollection of any bad software that i must've
downloaded. When i perform a clean boot, will i stil be able to access the
internet? What place are u living in India because im from there. ;) I
already tried the "automatic restart" thing and it is already shut off.

Thank you so much
