Re: Wont power down

Hi,
I too have same power down prob, definately IS a USB issue as have only had
this prob since recently replacing serial printer with USB printer and
dial-up modem to USB connected ADSL Broadband modem. Windows XP shuts down
but PC won't power down, but ONLY if device has been in use i.e if I've
printed something or gone online. Have researched & checked Device Manager,
Power Management etc. but still cannot resolve. Already had USB scanner &
USB card reader, had no power down probs with those connected. Maybe now
it's a case of too many USB devices & not enough power for them?
I don't really want to unplug all my USB devices every time I want to power
down my PC (especially since most of the ports are on the back of the machine
& would entail crawling under the desk!).
Any help appreciated, thanks.
