Display memory is the amount of RAM that is installed on your video board.

If your computer has on-board video, part of your system RAM is allocated to
be used as video RAM. If you have sufficient installed system RAM, this
should not be a problem.

The system RAM is allocated toward video usage in the bios settings and can
be anywhere from 2 meg up to whatever the limit is for that particular M/B.
Many M/B's can allocate 32 meg of your system RAM for video use.
