Re: Win ME to Win xp



If you dont need to save any documents & want to install xp fresh, set the
bios to boot from CD or hold down appropriate key on start up and boot
off the winXP CD and it will offer to reformat and install fresh or do the
upgrade.

Recently Upgraded laptop, winME that had 3gb total on the Hdd. after
upgrade it was 10gb. after a fresh format and full install rather than
upgrade was back to the 3gb area and much happier.
