Re: Win ME to Win xp

If it's an upgrade version of XP as opposed to an OEM or Retail version,
just put the CD in the drive. It will Autoplay and then just follow the
prompts on the screen.

It is a good idea to backup any important data before starting. I just
upgrade my wife's Me machine to XP home without incident and I've done
others in the past. I've personally never had a problem but apparently
others have and hence the need to backup data before starting the upgrade.

Good luck,
