I don't have an HP printer any longer but I do remember their settings
included a "Collate" setting. If enabled, the pages print in reverse order
so that the document is in the correct order when you lift it out the
printed sheets. Uncheck the settings if you want to print page 1-2-3 and
then manually collate.
