thanks for your prompt reply, i never thought about the battery and the
problems it could have.
i think i will shut it off for a while and maybe take the battery out.

i went to Dell website but after searching for a while i couldnt find an
email to send this kind of questions, only the ones dealing with non
technical issues. To get in touch with the tech guys i think the only way is
by phone call.
